Tortilla Crisps

These tasty chips are so quick and easy to make and the freshness of their flavor makes them so much better than any chips you could buy from the store!


Ingredients:

12 (6 inch) flour tortillas

Vegetable oil spray

Salt or garlic salt


Directions:

Preheat oven to 400°. Taking one tortilla at a time, lay it on a cutting board, spray the tortilla with vegetable oil spray, and lightly season it with salt or garlic. Cut the tortilla in half 4 times to form 8 triangles. Lay the tortilla triangles on an ungreased cookie sheet being careful not to overlap too much. Bake in the oven 8-10 minutes, or until crisp.


If you like your chips especially crunchy you can cut the plain tortillas into triangle pieces and deep fry them in hot oil until crispy, lay them on a plate lined with a paper towel to absorb the extra oil, and sprinkle the salt or garlic salt on top before they finish cooling.
