Spaghetti Sauce

Ingredients:

16 lbs. tomatoes, peeled and diced

1/2 cup salad oil

4 med. onions, diced

4 med. garlic cloves, diced

2 (12-oz) cans tomato paste

2 Tbsp. Parsley flakes

2 Tbsp. oregano leaves

2 Tbsp. canning salt

2 Tbsp. Basil

3/4 Tbsp. peppercorns, cracked

2 bay leaves

1/4 cup sugar


Directions:

Combine all ingredients together in a sauce pan. Bring to full boil. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer, stirring occasionally for about 2 hours until flavors are well blended. Remove bay leaves. Can in hot in jars or cool and freeze to preserve.
