Marble Cheesecake

Philadelphia Cream Cheese Cheesecakes (1989) Book


Ingredients:

1 cup graham cracker crumbs

3 Tbsp. sugar

3 Tbsp. butter or margarine, melted

3 (8 oz) pkg. Cream Cheese, softened

3/4 cup sugar

3 Tbsp. flour

1 tsp. vanilla

3 eggs

1 (1 oz) square unsweetened chocolate, melted


Directions:

Combine crumbs, sugar and margarine; press onto bottom of 9" spring-form pan. Bake at 350 for 10 minutes.


Combine cream cheese, sugar, flour and vanilla, mixing at medium speed on electric mixer until well blended. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.


In a small mixing bowl combine 1 cup of the batter with melted chocolate.


Spoon plain and chocolate batters alternately over crust; cut through batters with knife several times for marble effect.


Bake at 450 for 10 minutes. Reduce oven temperature to 250; continue baking 30 minutes.

Loosen cake from rim of pan; cool before removing rim of pan. Chill.


Makes 10 to 12 servings.
