Freshly Squeezed Lemonade (or Limeade)

Ingredients:

1 cup sugar or honey

9 cups water, divided

6 lemons (or 12 limes)


Directions:

In a small saucepan combine sugar with 1 cup of water and bring to boil. Cook just long enough for the sugar to completely dissolve into a sweet syrup, then remove from heat.


Slice lemons (or limes) in half and squeeze out the juice into a pitcher. Add the sweet sugar syrup and remaining 8 cups of water to the pitcher. Mix well, chill, and serve.
