Ketchup
Ingredients:
2 quarts peeled tomatoes, quartered
1/2 cup cider vinegar
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tsp. oregano
1/2 tsp. mustard powder
1/4 tsp. cumin
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. honey
1 Tbsp. arrowroot powder dissolved in 1 Tbsp. water
Directions:
Place tomatoes in a saucepan, mash and cook until they are soft. Then place the tomatoes in a blender and purée them. Return them to the saucepan, add the remaining ingredients and simmer for 30 minutes or until it thickens. Makes 1 quart.
