Caramel Popcorn

Ingredients:

6 cups popped popcorn

1 cup brown sugar

1/2 cup butter

1/4 cup light corn syrup

1/2 tsp. soda

1 Tbsp. vanilla


Directions:

Heat oven to 250. Place popcorn on 15x10 inch jelly roll pan. In large saucepan, combine brown sugar, margarine, and corn syrup; bring to a boil over medium heat. Boil for 2 minutes stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Add soda and vanilla; mix thoroughly. Pour over popcorn; mix well.

Bake at 250 for 35 minutes. Stir after baking 15 minutes; stir again after baking 30 minutes. Remove from pan immediately; cool completely on sheet of foil.

Makes 6 cups.
