Grandma Suing’s Sweet-Dill Pickles


Ingredients:

Small cucumbers

5 whole cloves garlic, peeled

2 fresh dill fronds

1/2 cup sugar

1/2 cup vinegar

1 tsp. canning salt


Directions:

Pack cucumbers into quart sized jars, along with the garlic and fresh dill fronds. In each jar add 1/2 cup sugar, 1/2 cup vinegar, and 1 tsp. canning salt. Put canning lids securely on the jars and process 20 minutes in boiling water bath.
